Scientific Name: Callicore Aegina
Common Name:
Distribution: South American Region
Description: At first glance the underside of the Callicore aegina may look identical to the underside of the Callicore cynosura, however the pattern is fairly different. Also, the orange coloring is generally lighter in color than the cynosura. What makes it stand out from the slightly larger cynosura though are the blue patches on the lower wing. They are very striking, while the cynosura's circles are less colorful.
